Preseason week.

August 26, 2012 (Morning)

So I've been really bad at logging. Hopefully it will improve now that the semester started. This final preseason was a blast! So many awesome memories. I'm sad its over.

2 mile time trial: 9:31
Felt good overall. Decent time. Ran alone. 1 sec positive split (4:45, 4:46) felt good. 67 last lap. Felt relaxed until the final 500 or so. People said relaxed was the word. Very happy with this start to the season. The team was very together as well. Definitely bodes well for packing it up. Calves held up okay with the socks.

Soreness is the word. Lifting basically destroyed me for the rest of preseason. Ran in the back on most easy runs. Just trying to keep it chill. Set Goals on Friday night. I'm happy with them. Still cautiously optimistic for the season.

Intersquad: 17 flat
No watch for splits. Just kinda ran. Played the pack card and tried to keep our group together for the race. It worked. Team victory for team C!!!! We ruined the W dominance! Chea team Chemistry! Felt really relaxed on this one. Shoulda moved a little earlier to catch Ethan maybe. Whatevs Intersquad was a blast! The teams were so incredible and we had a really good pack together running. Again bodes well for the actual races. Felt good despite the soreness.

Really short long run yesterday. Oh well. It can't be helped. Im semi mad about it but oh well. Its no biggie I think. Week was short because of that. Played 14 holes Sunday night. Real chill. What a blast. Played well too.
