woke up this morning to go to the bathroom and literally almost fell when i stood up because my ankle could not take any weight. I was thinking all day that i wasnt going to be able to run, let alone race on friday. Im out of shape and banged up. Throughout the day it stretched out a bit and the pain subsided a little bit. Contrast bath before the workout left it feeling bearable. We had a float run on the 6k course. I did 4 reps of 1 minute surge at mile race pace, 4 minutes distance run pace. We finished the whole 6k around 22 minutes which is around 5:54 pace for the whole thing. I felt okay and my foot still hurts. Matt from sports med was being a total douche to me like always. Fucking bitch is an intern.
