Exercise Type: Run
Weather: The temperature was warm but very humid
Comments:
I felt like crap. This was the lesson that I needed to learn about hydrating and eating enough during lunch and throughout the day. During the warmup I started to cramp a little. The cramping went away during drills. The first 800 felt fine along with the second one. The third and fourth consisted of me starting to feel fatigued. I felt like I was struggling to control my breath after each 800 and that my legs started to feel heavier and that I was losing the ability to really stride. That was for the third and fourth. In the 5th and 6th I started to really fall off the pace. I couldn't keep up with Mark and my body felt like shit. I felt like throwing up, my legs were shot, I was cramping all over my chest and stomach areas, and my breathing started to suck. What I did end up taking away from the shitty workout was to be better to my body during the day and to keep pushing myself and not to give up because I knew that everyone else out there was pushing themselves.
