Comments:
Felt pretty good coming into the race, though left ankle was sore on the warmup. Started out fast but got a side cramp about 2 miles in that lasted for about another mile. This slowed me down a bit but I fought through the pain about as well as I could have. 16:50 or so at the 5k I believe. Lost focus a bit with 1.5k to go and need to be more mentally tough in that section next time out. Overall, I'm happy with the race, as 28:00 is my fastest time on this course and at this point in the season, over a minute faster than last year's time.
