Comments:
felt pretty good, was loving it for the first few miles. not as good for the second half but not bad by any means. seeing a few good signs. the pain is kind of migrating down my shin, not super concentrated in one area. pain got a bit better with warmup, fairly constant (albeit mild) throughout the run. different surfaces / hills didnt seem to affect it much, which i hope means its not correlated with impact. it seems most likely to me that i strained my soleus, which manifested itself in shin pain. that diagnosis agrees with the length of the injury too. we'll see...
