Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Felt ok going into the race today. As coach wanted, first mile was out fast and mostly smooth for a time between 4:42 and 4:48. Dan dracup passed me at that point and I think I lost a bit of confidence but also knowing the hills were coming up, I couldn't keep that pace. I remember going up the wall and turning right instead of left at first hut that wasn't a big deal. Going up the suicide hill hurt but I thought I got up it well and going down, I don't think I ever have gone faster or more careless down a hill before. Tyler passed then vestal kid did and then Tom did. Tried to catch back up to them but couldnt do it. It was a good learning experience and I'm disappointed but I now know what I have to do to win sectionals and some other big meets. The team looked great today and I'm excited for the season.
