Took a personal day today from school to get some College stuff done, had intentions of hitting 6 miles at easy pace with some pickups but mentally I just didnt have cause I was going so slow, afterwards did 3 strides barefoot just to loosen up. .205 in 66, .1 in 29 and .07 in 16 (purposely got faster for each one) I think I came to the realization today that the cross country period of time in my life is over, it was a good 3 years but I'm just tired of having to perform when I never got a chance to reach my full potential you know? All I care about is track now, specifically the 800 and I'm gonna dedicate myself to taking Brandon's spot in the 4x400, one door closes and another opens I guess. Farewell cross country, it's been real and you taught me a lot about myself freshman and sophomore year, I miss those days desperately.
