Ok so I know all xc runners in the world will want to kill me for saying this but I love mile repeats. Like a lot. as in I think they are gonna land the spot of favorite workout for this season… They are hard but I love working on my racing pace and it helps so much on race day to look back and know that I can do it.

was trying to do these at my 5k mile pace however.. I did them faster. :) My first one was 45 sec. faster, 2nd 25 sec. faster, 3rd one 35 sec. faster. Really happy with this, could have done another if I really wanted to push myself but I was happy at the end of 3 and I’m really working on making sure I actually enjoy practice/running/racing.
