split tempo

Comments:
first split tempo of the year. normally i don't like them, but today was good. same distance as the past weeks, but it was 4-2-1, with 4min rest, then 2min. we intended to go a lot faster than we have the previous weeks, and surprisingly, our paces were a lot more consistent. felt more relaxed than i expected to despite how fast we were going. on the two-mile part, we started out too fast, but settled in ok. and ended up being faster than the 4mile. the last mile felt comfortable but fast. and it was fast. hr was 160 afterwards. solid workout. ran back to veale, and did our strider things on van horn. then added a loop around the quad.
lifting upstairs--did some weird jumping things, which was alright, but kinda made my legs hurt. ibis x30, static3,hips x10, roll, swim(18,2,4), icebath
