Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
First split tempo. I was really hungry before this. We were aiming for 6:35 for the first two, then holding it for the third. We went out fast, 6:24 first mile, but everyone seemed to be feeling ok so we kept it up. I did suggest we hold it back a touch on the second mile because we were gaining kind of quickly on the group in front of us, plus I thought we could spare a few seconds to keep us as a group for the first section. Happy with the effort. Kind of wanted to do a fourth mile but coach wasn't there to ask and I probably would have regretted that decision once I started. These were all faster than race pace last week. Coach told us to skip the 300s and just do some 45 sec accels on the way back, so we stopped at wade oval and did them. cooldown
