So yeah had a good night sleep of 8 hours. I had Potbelly's and some left over homemade spaghetti for dinner. My race went alright. Didn't feel like I did a great job. I trialled Nico the whole race, which is good & bad. My left calf started to bother me around the 1.5 mile mark. I felt like I was going fast the whole race but at the same time that I was just stuck in one gear. Guess I just had a bad race. I barely broke 18 I think. Twenty seconds more from my time from last week. The only good thing that happened was that I had a really strong 600-800 at the end of the race. I dnt think that I left too much out there but that was the only time I felt like I was actually doing anything. Just glad I could secure the 5th man spot and bring home the team title. I think that my splits were around 550-600. I just need to bounce back strong and run a good, smart race at city come Saturday and hope that we can continue the streak.
