Comments:
Eh, not that great. Ran a pretty pitiful warmup and as a result my legs felt TERRIBLE for the first mile. I literally could not go faster than 6 minute pace. Luckily since I was forced to go easy for the first mile, I had a pretty strong 2 mile where I passed a bunch of teammates to get into the 7th spot. Then the hills really hit me and we all slowed down, so I stayed in 7th and finished a good bit ahead of Tristan in 8th. Sean had a really strong last mile to pull ahead by 20 seconds in the last mile, but it might not matter since I think I'm comfortably in 7th now. I think what we saw here was an interesting gradient that led to me evensplitting the whole thing. The first mile I wasn't tired but my legs were extremely slow, so I ran a 6 minute mile. The second mile my legs were looser but I was kinda tired, so I ran 6 again. The last mile my legs were at their loosest, but I was dead from the hills, so I ran another 6. I thought that was kinda funny if not a bit disappointing.
