I had this day marked on my calendar to try a comeback. Heel and ankle felt good today, which is a good sign. As long as they stay healthy, it was smart to not rush starting training again.

The run was rough in general. I am essentially starting from square 1. I need to build a good base before I start doing workouts because I am in awful shape. Luckily, I am in no hurry to reach peak fitness because Pittsburgh isn't until May 5. I'm super excited to start training again, and 2:45 will be mine on Cinco de Mayo. I'm committed to putting in the mileage and hours to doing so.
