Just wanted to do a light workout to get some work in without stressing my calves too much. Ended up doing a mini version of the 7 mile fartlek on the track that I did a few weeks ago. It was dark and I couldn't see my watch (and didn't know what button to press to illuminate it) so I just did the fartlek by feel. Looking at my splits after the workout, I was pretty dead on for just going off feel. The fast laps were all about 5:10 pace (77-78) and the slow laps were all about 6:00 pace (1:30-1:31). 16:51 for all 12 laps.
