June 16, 2008 (Afternoon)

Exercise Type: Run

Weather: 80 and cloudy a bit windy too

Comments:
nice recovery run. I ran from the school to the arboretum and it was closed. Then a person drove out and the locked gate opened for her, she said that I could run in there but also not to say that she said it was ok. She said that there was a small opening in the 10 foot wall at the far end of the arboretum. Because of this opportunity I ran in there for a while and this kindness gave a new burst of energy for my legs. At one point I found a very nice steep slope, with good grass footing and I did 3 barefoot hill repeats. Afterwards my legs felt really loosened up and wanted to go faster but i just kept it relaxed and went slow. At the end I did fast barefoot strides on a soft soccer field.
