I honestly feel so good about running right now. Quarry was nice - a little hilly, but that's a part of life. I'm very glad about keeping up this 8-mile-per-day week. If there's anything I regret about XC season this year, it's my mileage base during the summer, which knocked down some of my confidence when the season began. Getting a strong mileage base before Indoor Track seems like the perfect way to go into the next season confident about my readiness as a runner.
