Jogged to the end of the road and back with Mattie.

NO PAIN!!!!!!

After a few weeks of intense physical therapy Gordon Wyman said I could try to run a little, as long as I didn't feel anything. And I didn't!! For the first time in months. SO exciting. I believe that keeping my hip functional is going to be dependent on correcting my form, however, which is very very hard. I have to tighten my lower abs constantly through the entire run so that my hip flexor doesn't try to compensate. that means "sucking my belly button to my spine." I feel like we forget a lot that your abs are supposed to go IN when you're using them, not out.

I also have to STAY OFF MY HEELS. No more CoreyElephant.

This will not be easy. But it'll be worth it. I'm desperate to stay healthy.
