Comments:
First workout at Bates! We ran 8x200, but we were rushed for time so we took the recoveries pretty fast, making the workout more of an endurance workout than usual (which was not necessarily a bad thing). My target time was 30-32 but I ended up running almost all 33s, which is a little slow but acceptable considering the circumstances.
Also found out I'll be running the 4x8, mile, and 4x2 on Friday. The 4x8 will be hard and my first fresh 8 of the season, and I really hope I can run at least on par with what I ran last year at around the same time, 2:05.high. That would put me in a good place going into the season. The mile should be sped up compared to my usual since I'll be loose from the 4x8 (I think I should recover enough that I wouldn't be very tired). I'm hoping to get close to 4:40 and maybe break it finally. For the 4x2 I just want to break 25 and not get our team DQ'd, that would definitely be ideal.
