Comments:
Ran the 4x8, mile, and 4x2. In the 4x8 we went hard with me, Spencer, Josh, and Sean, mainly to see what we can expect of our team at states. I went out in 30 and ended up with a 2:08.mid at a relatively hard clip. Not great but all things considered it was solid. Unfortunately Josh and Sean ran 2:17 and 2:20, likely more due to inexperience than their abilities (Josh ran a 2:12 in the open 8 later so I think he just needs more time to learn the event), so our time was a little slow. Spencer finished it off with a 2:07.mid which looked good (he ended up running 2:03.high on the heels of Harrison Stivers in the open 8, so he definitely set the bar for me when I run the open 8 next week).

The mile wasn't my best effort. I ran a poor time despite feeling pretty dead at the end. Part of it might have been the 4x8 before, but overall my mile has gotten a lot weaker. We'll see how my 800 fares next week...

The 4x2 was better than last week in that I didn't get us DQ'd. I still ran a slow 25.4 that is way off my times from last year. Our team time isn't too great either, just barely under 1:40.
