Windy Tempo run

Weather: cool, windy, low 40's

Comments:
Was pushed for time and needed distance so today's effort called for none other than a tempo run. First hard run in my altra's and they did well. Calves were a lil sore after the run. Legs and lungs felt great during the run. Could tell the effort was getting very labored around 3 miles so holding the pace for 4 would have been pushing it. Mile splits were 5:43, 5:24,5:19, with a 6:04 cool down. 3 mile split was 16:28! Next time I need to wear something over my head or at least ears when it's that cold and windy.
