Holliday Lake, Round 2!

Comments:
Great taper, great pre-race meal, and great weather.

Ran the first loop in about the same time as last year (2:06ish). Felt good throughout. Dropped my pack at halfway cuz it froze so I was literally living aid station to aid station. I nailed down a system of chugging a gu, then getting some bugles and pbj and walking while I drank a cup of water. Worked well!

Race kept going well, and I kept having to tell myself to just keep shuffling towards the end. I knew if I walked I wouldn't start running again. Before I knew it it was over and I had a new PR!

15th Overall, and fastest LU student (got a cool blanket!). Congrats to Zach on a PR and Lindsay on an AWESOME first Ultra!!!

P.S. - Stitching held up surprisingly well on my shoes!
