Holiday Lake 50k 2013!

Comments:
I wasn't nervous at all in the days before the race but the morning of I started to get more nervous. I ate a PB&J and a banana w/ peanut butter for breakfast. We got to Holiday Lake around 5:45 and I got out one last poop. We started at 6:30 and the first loop went EXACTLY how I wanted it too. I felt great the whole time, smiled a lot, and ran it in 2:15. At each aid station I ate PB&J, pringles, bugles, and some type of soda/GU. I started the 2nd loop and was trying to catch Dylan! Felt pretty solid until 8 miles left and hit a little wall with the tightness in my hips/hamstrings. Ran the rest of the race with Jordan Whitlock and Kaylyn Peck. I definitely would not have been able to keep up my pace without them. I had to do the last mile in under 8:15 finish under 4:40 and I barely made it. After the race I got pretty nauseous again... need to figure out a way to fix that. Finisher shirts were sweet!
