my training has been pretty shitty lately because my head has not been in the right place. its time to put things in the past and try to turn that around. fuck everything thats held me back for the past few weeks. the race at bw showed that i can get out there and not be intimidated by anything. i must hold my own.
2x2K at 5:20-5:25 pace. didnt feel great. 150 accelerations were aight. right shoulder became really fatigued for whatever reason.
chestday lift was awesome though. 2x8reps of 50lb dumbbell press, 1x5 of 55lb, 1x4 of 55lb, then 1x6 of 50lb. focused on the eccentric phase when hitting failure. 3x8 reps of 25lb DB flyes, then did 3 sets of cable flyes, with the last set as a drop set, going for the deep stretch/contraction with those. obliterated the pectorals.
next time go for 5x8 with 50lbs, and then ill be ready to do sets of 8 with 55lbs
