Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Evan was doing a speed workout today so I decided to jump in and do it with him. Probably a dumb idea, but I thought it would be fun to try something different. The workout was 1x300, 4x200, although I stopped after 3 200s. Times were 44.8, 27.2, 27.4, 27.2. We didn't time the rest but it was probably about 3 minutes. I felt extremely shitty on all of the reps, but that probably had more to do with how drunk I got last night than with the workout itself. My legs burned and felt powerless the whole time, even during the easy 300. On the bright side, I didn't feel like I had to sprint all out to hit 27s. They basically felt like 29s used to feel: a restrained sprint. I think if I did this workout not hungover I'd be able to hit 26.mid for all of these no problem. After the workout I did an EXTREMELY slow 5.3 miles. Felt godawful. Evan threw up after the workout.
