Was gonna do a track workout today to see where I'm at. I was planning on 1600, 2x800, 4x400 cause that's one I've done a few times before. As soon as I started running, though, I felt really weak and fatigued and shitty. It didn't get any better during the warmup and I started having doubts about the workout. I decided to give it a shot anyway. After I made it to the 800m mark of the first repeat in 2:36 I decided to pull the plug. I'm not sure what the deal was. I've felt that way plenty of times before but I'm usually able to push through it. I'm thinking maybe I didn't eat enough today? I can't think of any other reason I'd feel so shitty. Oh well. I guess the times wouldn't have been that fast even if I had felt great because it's hard to go fast on an unlit track at night. I'm gonna wait to do another track workout until daylight savings time in a couple weeks. I'll be sure to eat a snack beforehand
