Recovery, Pt. 2

Exercise Type: Run

Comments:
1.5 mile treadmill, 1.1 mile elliptical, 1.5 mile elliptical, 1.3 mile treadmill.

I'm writing this on Friday, so here's what happened Thursday. I woke up feeling pretty much the same as I woke up on Wednesday: quads feeling destroyed. Again, sitting up or down or moving on stairs caused some wincing. So I'm still in therapy mode right now.

I did the same thing as I did on Wednesday, just balancing treadmill and elliptical, but much slower. I also did some fast walking to warm up and cool down. Afterward, I gave myself a really good ice bath.

Now it's Friday, and I think the ice bath is what made the difference, because I feel somewhat better. My legs feel much more normal, though doing any vertical movement is still painful (but a little less). Fingers crossed, but I anticipate being fully recovered by Monday.
