Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
This run was a tale of intestinal anguish. I drank pretty heavily last night for the first time in many weeks. I woke up this morning feeling pretty good though. I got Iced in the late morning (in one of my shoes) and had breakfast with a mimosa. In retrospect those two drinks didn't do me any favors later on. I took a near two hour nap at 1:30 and woke up feeling ready to run. Unfortunately that was not the case.
I started running and immediately felt awful. I made it about 1.5 miles and suddenly I absolutely had to take a shit. Luckily, I was very close to a hotel, so I just rolled in there and took care of business. I was really hurting though. I felt like throwing up.
Anyway, I finished at the hotel and started running again. This time, I made it about another mile and just couldn't take it anymore-- my stomach felt like death. I turned around and headed back, only to need to turn around AGAIN as I went past the same hotel because I was going to shit my pants again. I returned to the scene of the crime. I was going to go into a different hotel about 150 meters away but I legitimately wouldn't have made it there.
Ran home the remaining mile or so and that was that...
The good thing is my legs felt fine
