Comments:
I wanted to get in a good track workout tomorrow so I kept the tempo run really light. I did the same 2 mile out and back that I did last week, hitting splits of 5:33, 5:25, 5:35, and 5:26. It wasn't super windy out today so I was able to keep it a little more even than last week. 5:30 pace felt extremely easy and comfortable. After I finished I didn't even stop to catch my breath and went right into my cooldown. A mile into the cooldown I checked my split just out of curiosity. I was expecting like 7:30 pace or something slow like that, but my split was 6:18! I ended up hitting 6:36 pace for the whole cooldown including the massive hill up Ridge Ave. All in all I'm really happy with today, especially with how slow and relaxed sub 6:20 pace felt
