Interesting run on Ridge 7. This was my first run with my new sexy flashy glam Nike Free 3.0s, and they're very lightweight. This turned out to be a bad thing, seeing as the impact I had on each step was very significant. I've been running with heavy, protective shoes for a while, so the contrast was stark. Maybe it was because I had run on the indoor track yesterday, or because of all the hurdles I've done as of late, but my leg bones felt weak today. That disturbed me a little bit on the first half of our run. I got more tired than I usually do on Ridge, and the rest of the guys got probably 200-250 meters ahead of me. On the second half of the run, I accelerated a lot and caught up. That was really gratifying. Then Willy and I did a KAC loop to round out 8 miles.
