Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
3x1000 quick tempo pace and then 3x400 mile pace. I thought the tempos were gonna be easy as hell but i felt like garbage. wow. wtf. 400s were 68-66-64. felt like almost all out on those faster ones. lower back was tight as hell again. legs werent fresh even though i didnt run yesterday.
i used to enjoy lifting alone, just doing my thing and not talking to anyone. but drew wasnt here today and it kinda sucked. i was so tired from the running workout i wish i had some NO-Xplode before starting to run.
Good progression on the dumbbell presses today, 40lbs, 3x8, 8reps of 40-30 dropset. I think i did one more set of something else i forgot though.
Lateral raises, it was either 3 or 4 by 8 with 25lbs b/c i couldnt find 22.5. good progression once again. Last set I did 20lbs for 12 reps, bent the elbows more towards the end for extra burn. Then did a NOS 25-20-15-10 burnnnn.
Front trap raises superset with wheelbarrow shrugs. 50lb for front raise and 90lbs for wheelbarrow. felt it better in the traps in the first 2 sets. its actually more than just a shrug, its more of an extremely subtle mini fly movement. 4x10/20
rear delt flys superset with cables. 4x12-15 with flys and 10lb on the cable, which felt better than 7lb last week.
front delt raise superset with military press. first set was 40lb ez curl bar and 50lb ez curl bar for press. that got real tough real quick so i switched to 35lb plate and 40lb press. this worked better. maybe next week ill do 35 lb platet with a 45lb olympic barbell. felt the shoulder contractions much better with the plate.
went to walmart during the middle of the party. i was so proud of myself when i walked by the aisle of protein i was so tempted but i didnt buy any! +1
