Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Good things all around on this run.
I began with some pain when I tried to run with a full stride, and had to run with a slow, stuttered step. I could visibly tell that I wasn't running as fast as usual.* However, when I loosened up more, I could run really normally, and ran fast enough to finish with an average pace not far off 7'00".
But a better summary would just be this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e-wHixgp2RE
*I always listen to Bruce Springsteen's Born in the U.S.A. album beginning-to-end when I run solo, and I've connected some lyrics with various points on the run. For instance, if I'm running at a good pace, Bruce tells Big Man to "play yer saxophone!" when the shoulder on Big Run is flat enough to move off the road after it meets Jacobs Road.
