Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
I'm pretty ambivalent about what happened at Marv Frye.
Good things: I felt less pain in my hip than I have all this week; I got a PR in the 1500; I practiced hurdles afterwards, and I haven't lost much technique this week; Delaware is a really beautiful, soulful town, and I'm glad I got to run around it for my warm-up and cool-down.
Less good things: I actually felt my hip being irritated during the race; this was only my first 1500 (so can I actually call it a PR?); my first lap was downright crummy, going out with a 72 and being terribly passive with my competitors.
The next time I do a 1500 (Denison LC, maybe?) I'll be way more prepared. That's really the point of Freshman Year, right?
