Comments:
I was apprehensive about wearing the shoes for the 1/2 marathon. It was only the third time wearing them. But my fears were laid to rest early. I never did have any hot spots or problems. Not even any blisters after improving my personal best 1/2M by almost 15 minutes. Ok, so it was only my third 1/2 and the second one I was sick.
Anyway, muddy and cold. and all down hill. It was a good test in that regard as downhills are often worse on feet and legs than uphills.
I'll take two days off before the next training run. I think some x-country if the weather holds and not too wet. It's June but still 30°'s at night here.
