Who's the nitwit who wrote "Horn 9" on the XC map? MapMyRun calls it 10.09 miles. It felt like more than 9, too.
I did this run with Eric, and it really was gratifying. My hip didn't bother me at all, and I only got fatigued around the end of the run, when we hit Zion and the wind was in our faces. Eric did an A+ job of motivating me to finish the run hard, in spite of the conditions.
On terms of my hip, a weird change has happened: I never feel pain when I run anymore, but when I sit down at a bad angle, pain shoots through my IT band. This happened three times today: once when I sat down in my friend's car to go to church, and twice when I used the foam roller. After the run, rolling out was a painful ordeal, but hey, I *highly* favor this situation when where I was one week ago.
Weather = perfect, hip = better, life = easier. I'm ready for a normal week.
