Comments:
Total failure of a tempo run today. I wasn't prepared for this heat wave. Last week it was in the 30s everyday and now all of a sudden it's in the mid-70s. Went through 2 miles in 11:08 and felt so overheated that I had to stop for a minute. When I started up again my stomach really hurt and I ended up having to stop again and take a bathroom break a little after the 3 mile mark. So basically the workout ended up being 2 mile (1:00 rest), 1.25 mile (2:00 rest), .75 mile, all at about 5:30 pace. I was really pushing pace on the cooldown to make up for the shitty workout when I got hit with another wave of intense stomach pain and had to make another bathroom stop. By the time I got home I felt absolutely destroyed. Just utterly depleted and dehydrated.
