damnn. my legs hurt before we even reached veale garage from veale. had to trudge through the next 8 miles. it was so hot. i just wanted to go like....AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
finally got back from the run. stepped into the showers and just sat down on the ground. probably died for a little while too.
picked up some iForce Hemavol from the vitamin shoppe. stimulant free. agmatine/citrulline malate/norvaline based nitric oxide enhancer, reportedly gives some out-of-this-world
pumps. 20,833% recommended daily dosage of vitamin B12 lmao. gonna use it for back/tricep day tomorrow. real excited.
The oh so dreaded leg day. didnt turn out to be so bad after all.
improved notably on the squats. 5x8 w/ 135 got easier with each set. probably even 5x10 w/ 145 next week.
The Almighty King Deadlift. progressed well too! started w/ 2x10 w/ 165lbs, then 2x10 w/ 175lbs which were probably the toughest 2 sets. stepped it up to 185lbs next. more than i can bench now lol. i stepped up to the bar, took a look at it and said FUCK you. and banged out 10 reps with no pause. starting w/ 175, working up to 195 next week.
front squats was worlds better than last week too. 5x10 w/ 95lbs a success. worked up a hell of a sweat. hot as balls in the weight room.
hamstring curls. 1 set of 70lbs cuz we forgot what weight to use. then 4x10 w/ 80lbs. using 80lbs next week with better form --> contract the abs to isolate the hamstrings. mind muscle connection. got good solid contractions in the hamstrings. supersetted this w/ calf raises for about 3 sets. just put on 35lb plate and repped slowly til i felt the burn. it was quite nice.
did 3 sets of trap shrugs w/ the new machine. works even better than the wheelbarrow. had only 45+25 on each side. felt the soreness much closer to the neck. awesome.
leg press. minimal rest w/ 55 on each side. slowed the reps for time under tension. good shit. 65lbs next week
