Well on the way from practice today found out that we were doing the Michigan, which is always a rough blow. Felt ok during warmup, knee slightly bugged me but nothing even close to what I would consider real pain. I felt a little dehydrated before the start, probably courtesy of the 84 degree weather. Goal paces were 4:46 and 3:34 for the first mile and 1200. Felt very relaxed hitting my mile in 4:46 and then we went out for our first tempo loop, which ended up being long by about 40 seconds, felt pretty comfortable on that too, hitting 6:03, then hit the track and ran a 3:33 for my 1200, during the next tempo mile I started losing it, I was comfortable until about the last minute then it all started hitting me. I ran 6:07 and was up front, but I really paid the next 800. I ended up with a ghastly 2:33, and at that point I almost dropped out, but convinced myself to keep going. At this point I was on my own, but I did manage a 6:22 which could've been much worse. I ran a 65 final 400 to finish the workout, exhausted but at least I made it. I think besides the 800 everything was alright, but I sorta lost it a bit physically and then totally mentally during the moment. Cooled down a couple miles after
