Comments:
Had a 4x800. There was no one 'good' (relative term here) on the other teams, so we were able to win with a 9:19. I ran a 2:20 leg. It honestly was fairly hard - I wasn't really comfortable as I should had been. I felt heavy an blah. That carried into the 400. My groin was bothering me at that point, and I ran feeling heavy and awkward with the annoyance of my groin. I went 55.28 according to Noah's handtime. I cooldowned a bit and ran the two mile after telling Cartwright I'd be fine. At around 200 Cody from ME took off - probably running a :34 or so. I told Sam as we were side by side at that point 'I guess I better go get him, want with?'. I didn't hear a reply (apparently he thought I told him to stay or something to that affect) and went with the ME dude. I just got right on him and stared at his neck for the next 6 laps. Went 5:02 through the mile. At 850 to go I took off and put a 30 meter gap on him. Then finished it up for the win in 10:08. I guess my groin loosened up quite a bit; the first two laps it was bothersome but then I didn't feel it. Or It was just because I started to focus after the two laps and knew I was in it for the win after that. Went for a cooldown in the downpour and broke my phone in the process by getting it waterlogged. Cool stuff.
