Comments:
Felt pretty decent today, so although I was a little nervous when I heard about the workout, since I dropped out in the winter, I knew I'd probably be able to make it out ok. Warmed up for 4 miles with the team. We then did 4x200 w 200j rest at 32-33-33-31 then got into the workout (5x500 at a 400 pace of 65 kicking in for the last 100 a little faster, with 1:00 rest). I decided to hang back a little and not be aggressive because that has been hurting me lately. We went 1:19,1:21,1:22,1:21,1:20 and I finished up at the front feeling very comfortable (I think I could've been like 1:18 on the last one but I was cut off twice which killed my momentum a bit). After the workout I was pretty pumped up because I think I could've kept going for a couple more without slowing the pace at all. Cooled down with Lyle, Jimmy, and Mahalsky, getting pumped up about this weekend.
