The cool thing about biking is that it allows you to explore places that are too far away to run to. Today I decided to keep going past the end of Forbidden Drive and see what was out there. I went through farms and neighborhoods full of these massive, absolutely gorgeous houses until I finally got to a continuation of the Wissahickon Valley Trails. I followed that to Fort Washington State Park, explored that for awhile, then looped back via Stenton Ave to Bells Mills Rd. The whole bike ride was beautiful. I had no idea the areas just outside of Philly were so rural, nothing but woods and farmland.
