Nice weather, and I didn't feel like lifting, so I went on my first weekend run in a year. Weekend runs are what got me injured last year so I try to avoid them, since they're mostly rote mileage anyway, but today I made an exception. I was pretty tight so it wasn't the best run, and my left ankle was hurting for the first four minutes. I don't get what's going on with it because it's acting a lot like my shins do when I have shin splints, it hurts for a couple minutes and then the pain goes away once I'm warmed up, and then it comes back the next day. I hope it isn't serious...
