Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
i did stonehenge 8, the last 6 were tempo and even that progressed a bit. 14:00 at the bridge and then i was 38:40 through 6 when i hit the bridge again and 50:07 at the front of the KAC, so 11:27 the last two miles. started to feel it the last half mile or so, but otherwise i felt pretty relaxed. the hills were tough, but otherwise i'm really happy with this as a solo effort. especially since i did 6 at 6:01 pace. i'll look to increase this type of run over the next couple months. maybe get up to around 8 or 9 at this pace or a bit slower, we'll see. i'm shooting for 2 days of more quality work a week with a long run and a really easy recovery day. the others are just getting the mileage in for aerobic benefit while still being able to recover for the next day's run. I'll probably add on 3 more later tonight. the next couple weeks i'll be able to run in the morning because of how my lab schedule works out, so that'll be nice and it'll make it easy to double.
