FEEL SO FAT. looks like most people have started their summer training. i got one more week off. and i FEEL SO FAT.
1.3 scoops of Craze for preworkout. it was real good. I had pretty intense focus. just doin my thing. didnt give a shit about nobody else, feelin #alphaasfuck.
80lbs on the dumbbell presses. kicked my ass. thought i might manage 3x8. but i guess thats unrealistic given i can barely finish 4x8 with 75. So ended up doing 3x6, couldnt hit the very last rep though. took 3 minutes of rest between sets, more strength oriented. but hey, thats progressive overload. gave the muscles a completely new stimulus today, they'll adapt.
Went to the bench press and loaded up 135lbs for 2 sets of 10. this is probably what ill do from now on, trying to eventually transition to the barbell press in the next few weeks.
Curls. went for the 75lb barbell. hit 2x8 complete. went for the 3rd set and had to do a 5-3 dropset. then had to drop to 60lbs for the next 2 sets of 10. that was a struggle. it was also a straight bar, which i didnt like, no homo.
then did a 60-50 dropset, and then repped out with 50 for about 12-3 r/p.
Incline seated chest press. loaded up with 70lbs each side and 3x8 with that. then dropped to 65 for 8, then maybe 60-45 dropset/rep out.
Right to decline presses. 80lbs each side for like 4 sets probably. dont completely remember what i did..... but i think i dropped to 45 at the end and repped it out.
had to pee a lot and continuously sip water every 2 sets or so cuz of dry mouth.
hammer curls. did a set of 8 with 35lbs. that was way too heavy, thought i could handle it but maybe i was too spent on regular curls. w/e. did the next 3 sets or so of 10 with 30lbs. Then did a 30-25 dropset. and then did set of 12 with 22.5 i think.
Went to take advantage of a new machine. it was a flat seated chest press that kind of went on a slight arc path to allow for better contraction of the chest. did a set of 8 with 130lbs, then dropped to 100lbs or 110 for the next 2 sets of 10. not bad of a machine.
some people were on the incline benches so i just did standing machine curl. 3 sets of 12 with level 6,7,6.
4 sets of pushups superset with pec dec. 15 pushups each set. pec dec was 100, then 100-85 drop, then 85, then a NOS set.
really good workout. havent had an actually enjoyable lift at Lifetime fitness since the era of Veale. but thanks to Craze thats changed.
I sneezed when showering, and the sound resonated like a gunshot.
