June 14, 2009 (Morning)
Exercise Type: Run
Weather: high 60s, lots of rain
Comments:
Felt great this morning. It was a pretty steady rain for the first 5-6 miles, tapered off a bit over the last half of the run. Figured it would be good practice in case we get lots of rain during the 100on100 (it won't during the Boilermaker - has yet to do so in the first 20-odd years of the race, thus proving the God loves the 'Maker).
Back is a little wonky, we all slept in the back yard in a tent last night to get Charlie used to the idea - going camping with Adam and family in two weeks for A Prarie Home Companion and figured we'd better know ahead of time if it was going to be a debacle. Charlie did quite well, getting 10-11 hours of sleep ... better than mom and dad, who required a nap this afternoon.
