stacked a scoop of Craze with a scoop of C4. I couldn't believe it was like 3 minutes after taking C4 I felt the tingle on my lips, then 2 minutes after that it was on my ears and stuff. I say I don't take beta alanine even though it's in these products because I don't take it frequently enough nor at a sufficient dosage for it to have a measurable effect on me.
Warmed up with 5 reps of 95lbs on the bent over row. just getting the MMC down and form. 155lbs did 3x10. these felt great. awesome activation on middle/upper back/lat. then a set of 12 with 135. By the end my forearms barely felt any fatigue, which is a good indicator that the primary movers were my back muscles, good application of MMC, and a productive exercise.
Dip machine. this POS goes by increments of 20lbs whereas I go up in increments of 5lbs, lol. so pinned down 230lbs on the stack and did 4x8. it was tough because the whole stacked weighed a lot more than I did and it was hard to stay in the freakin seat cuz the weight kept pushing me up. but i managed. dropped to 190, aimed for 12 but got like 10. dropped to 170 aimed for 15, did a 12-3 RP. Went to bodyweight dips, this thing feels different than veale so I did like 15. instead of my typical 22.
Lat pulldowns. aimed for 3x8 with 160. got it all. but the last set coulda been better except the gym worker douche came over and switched the bar on my cuz he thought the cable was gonna snap. like snap city. i woulda been cool if i broke the machine, lol. Snap City for real. Did a 130-100-85-70-55 NOS set overall pretty strong on this today, no left bicep strain or any significant arm strain for that matter, even though my biceps are still rpetty sore from monday.
Skullcrushers. did liek 4x10 with 45lbs, short rest. it kind of put wierd stress on the elbows but slow and control to be safe. got the tris pretty good, then went to 35lbs for a set of 12.
one armed rows. 60lbs for a set of 12. best set. felt great lat contractions. but second set of 10 wasnt as good. 3rd set same story. 4th set maybe a bit better cuz i dropped to 45lbs. I think i get too ambitious on the first set, then my body seems to forget the proper form thereafter lol wtf.
Tricep pushdowns, used the short ez bar this time. 37.5lbs since my tris were exhausted and also I didn't feel much anymore so this exercise was not being very productive. ill try something diffeernt next time.
Vbars. 75lbs for 10. felt awesome back work. then 80lbs for 10, same thing felt great. supersetted 10 reps of 15lbs reverse fly with 85lbs and maybe form broke down a bit or something but it was slightly less quality of a set. dropped back to 75lbs for next superset and similar story. lower back was starting to feel sore even with the belt on. dropped to 50 and repped out 10 more. lower back burrrnnn. Done.
The belt is saving my life though. 1 armed rows puts not only tension but torsion on the lower back since it's one sided. and the belt mitigated most of that. I woulda felt god awful if i didnt have it. After taking off the belt at the end of the workout it was like, holy God... like fucking Guantanamo Bay got let loose or something cuz I felt the lower back area decompress unilaterally and it was like all the fatigue hit all at once. but that was short-lived cuz i feel nothign writing this now.
