Welcome back

May 31, 2013 (Morning)

Exercise Type: Weights

Comments:
As I walked into the weightroom through the hallway, I could hear the voices of iron telling me "Welcome back, Aaron". thank you, I thought.

55lb dumbbell shoulder press. aimed for 4x8 as the progression. after the 25lb warm up i was like, how the hell am i gonna be able to do 55lbs?? but i did it and it wasnt as impossible as i thought but not as easy as i would have liked. hit 3x8, actually failed on the last rep. but punched out another like 6 or some on the next set. then did 2 sets of front raises superset. 25lb plate 10 times to 8 times of 40lb db press. got the front delts pretty good.

lateral raises i decided to go hardcore on these at some point. 25lbs feel too comfortable, but 30lbs is tough. so use the 30s and get used to it. did 4x8 with 30lbs. lots of rocking of the body on that but i kept the dumbbell elevated at the top of the movement to increase TUT. then proceeded to do 4x11 with 25lbs. less rocking needed but keeping high TUT. i was pretty tired by now but i looked down and saw beast mode and thought of Chris Jones: "No roids, just rage". so rage i did. picked up the dumbbells and started flying. 20lbs for 2 sets of like 15 then 12/5 r/p. then did a NOS set 25-20-15-12-10-8.

flexed those delts in the mirror and i saw some nicely capped delts heavy with striations like a glacial rock. the way they looked pumped is how i need them to look when unpumped.

rear delts. just used 20s but these were too light 4 sets of 12 flys superset with 10 reps of 10lbs on the cable.

had preworkout but it was kind of a hasty workout since im still getting adjusted to moving back. and woke up later than i will from now on.
