went back to NO-Xplode after awhile off of it. heaping scoop gave clean sustainable energy. no jitters.
last month i took a step back so that i can take 2 steps forward. i am now taking those 2 steps forward. loaded up 190lbs on the squat and did 5x5 and it was great. good form, good motions and i felt like i was actually pushing mostly through my heels and didnt feel like i was tipping over onto my toes this time for the most part. then just did a set of 8 ATG with 135lbs since today's this weeks only leg day.
stiff leg deadlifts. first time doing this exercise. 135lbs, no belt, no straps. everything was great. did 5x10 and felt decent hamstring contractions. workin on that grip strength.
some dumbass asian was wearing flip flops, and sat on the bench press doing endless concentration curls. i was like gtfo of my weight room. i typically dont judge people lifting but this guy was just..
hack squats. i kinda expected this to be a struggle, but i had 35lbs on each side and did 3x8 really easily. it was great.
70lbs on the seated calf raise to exhaust the soleus with 5x20. then right to the leg press machine for straight leg calf raises with 2 plates a side at 5x20.
today was a great leg workout that hit everything without killing it too hard. #balance
Meanwhile my front delts and rotator cuff region is pretty sore. chest soreness is very manageable. upper back soreness has become ridiculous, and even spread to the traps. its quite pleasant but i just hope i am able to pull some weight on friday
