Barthel Fitness Unleashed. it tastes pretty good. it's got a pretty generous serving of beta-alanine, citrulline-malate and agmatine. clinical dosing of each of these ingredients would actually be 2 scoops of Unleashed, but that would put me at 400mg of caffeine, which I'd like to avoid going that high.
During my treadmill warm up i got all #TINGLAY and warm. it wore off a little quick. so now i know if i wanna stack it i gotta use something like C4 or Craze where caffeine aint the primary stim.
Bench press, progressing to 170lbs and aimed for 5x5. got 5 on the first set but i must say the set felt kind of cold. 5th rep was tough to hit. next set i only managed 4. not sure why if i wasnt properly warmed up or something. but here's where it started fucking with my mind. and of course this is also when all the little black kids start swarming into the weight room. i was resting between sets 2 and 3 and they all just sat down right at my feet and were just all watching me. i was like fuck that shit i cant believe this is happening right now. my focus was thrown way off. i think i actually managed to hit 4 reps in set 3 and that was easier than the previous set though. then i cuoldnt take it anymore. i moved to the other room and set up the bench press there for set 4 and 5. but that inadvertently caused me to take about 6 minutes rest. not too big of a deal since its strength training. hit 4 reps again. then 4 reps in the 5th set. so i think my problem today was that my focus was thrown off and that I didnt have the confidence i had yesterday possibly because i didnt have a spotter and all the kids sitting at my feet was kind of unexpected. i know i have it in me to hit 5x5 with 170lbs. thatll be next time.
did 3 sets of abs quickly with 20lbs to rest the triceps
overhead press. this is where i know ive improved noticeably since the last workout and gives me reason to stay positive. last time i barely got through 4 sets but this time i got through all 5x5 with 95lbs easily. ready for 100lbs. had the belt on to protect the lower back. always a good idea.
dips. first set i did with the chain, however much it weighs. cuz the little fucking annoying kids took the weight belt and put it somehwere. but i fuodn it for the second set and put on a 35lb plate for the next 2 sets of 8. shit was easy.
then went onto lateral raises. i did either 3 or 4 sets of 8 i think 3 sets with 30lbs. shoulders were fatigued by now but im definintely getting better at handling 30lbs, i canfeel it.
so stay positive because all in all, i made progressions and the only thing that didnt go quite as planned was the first exercise but even there i didnt do bad all things considered.
