had to lift in the afternoon cuz of shadowing in the morning which was real awesome i learned a lot. didnt eat since the morning but i couldnt so just had to workout like that. took some Unleashed. got #TINGLAY as fuck during the first exercise, which was good timing.
5x5 bench press with 175lbs. first set was ok. so was the second. not too bad. i was so nervous. i hate that. third set i think i thought way too much about form and drive and that actually messed me up. tried to emulate how the form for powerlifting goes, by driving the bar up from the lower pec region to above the face. but that didnt quite work and i almost got stuck on the 5th rep. had to rack it on one of the safeties. then 4th set i called over a spotter, but instead of thinking about form, i just focused on moving the weight from point A to point B. that worked very well and before i knew it i had 4 reps in the bag. paused a little bit and slammed out the 5th one. last set had Avik spotting me again. got 3 w/o help. then minor help on the 4th, even though i coulda got it on my own, then he helped on the 5th. but basically, i'd say im ready for 180. i can probably do like 3x3 at least to start out with.
OHP. now 105lbs for 5x5. i remember like 3 weeks ago i couldnt even hold up 105. now i can rep with it. 4x5 went very well with power. then the very last rep i could not get. but thats all. it was real good still. im ready to attempt sets of 5 with 110, it might take like 2 workouts with 110lbs before im ready for 115 but thats cool.
4x10 w/ 30lb laterals, this was tougher than i expected. but doable. then a dropset of 30-20
3x12 dips with large chains around the neck. careful not to hurt the shoulders. good sets.
