Cardozo Crawlers "DMR Workout"

Exercise Type: Run

Weather: humid, high 70s

Comments:
Drove Brad to Banneker Track at 6:30am. Ran two lap warm up and immediately toed the line to run a 1600. (5:56) Jogged a lap and stretched while a partner (Sebastian) ran 1200m. I then ran an 800 (2:48). Stretched while he ran a 400. I then ran a 400 (76). Stretched while he ran 800. Finished off by running a 1200 leg (4:14). Cheered Sebastian through a 1600 and then eventually jogged 400 and drove home. Definitely loosened up after the first pick up. Never really extended myself with any purpose or drive, but I did work, especially when an end was in sight. The final 150 of everything was fairly strong and I did push the pace for the last 400 of the 1200 (having come through 800m in around 2:59ish). Glad I did it. Fulfilled my goal of starting some speed work this week.
